God, this animation is so lifeless and boring. Especially compared to the dynamic look of the original series. The pace is slushy, the jokes are uninspired…it’s still a pale imitation of what came before it.
I still can’t imagine why they’re trying to do this. There’s literally no way they can make this series feel like The Powerpuff Girls without Craig McCracken on board.
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THE SENSE OF SCALE!? NOT JUST ON THE MAIN VILLAIN BUT EVERYONE ELSE. AT ONE POINT THERE’S A GUY WHOS HEAD IS BIGGER THAN HIS BODY AND THE ROBOT CONSTANTLY CHANGES SCIENCE AND IT FEELSLIKE THEY ARE JUST ATTEMPTING A CHEAP CASH IN ON NOSTALGIA
