With the exception of legitimate emergencies such as medical bills, vet bills, eviction and homelessness, ect. there is no reason your followers should hand over their hard-earned money to you. No one else should have to pay for your rent or tuition or insurance or whatever else you complain aboutbecause they have to pay theirs too. Just like the rest of the grown-up world. And don’t even get me started about the artists that ask for donations to buy a new tablet or video games or go to Brony Con. You are literally begging your followers to buy you luxury things you don’t need. You wouldn’t go around the street and ask strangers to pay your rent or buy you things would you? If you want to take care of yourself like a grown-up or buy expensive things then open commissions (traditional if you have no damn tablet) or get a job. Just earn it like the rest of us do.
