Short answer is yes
Long answer is that I did my first protests ever with a LGBT group at college called Equality Now. The group was pretty small so everyone got pretty close and as a result it turned into a dating thing so I left (that’s perfectly fine for them to do but there was nothing for me as a straight guy to do). From there I’ve done some other work going on marches for LGBT+ rights (amongst other things). So maybe that should be a strong yes rather than a regular yes.
I’ll be honest though I have friends who are pansexual and I really don’t understand how it’s different from being bisexual I think it’s probably something to do with the fact that I don’t have a clear understanding of the gender binary debate. If someone can explain this stuff I’d be happy to read it. Don’t get me wrong I believe people can be pansexual but I literally don’t understand what it means. Dictionary definitions have failed me.
Since we are on tumblr I gotta say that I think that the otherkin/fictionkin/factkin thing is something I’ve only experienced here and only with very threatening people. For those reasons I can’t respect it. There is a biological basis for LGBT+ but the kin stuff seems to just be a tumblr thing. If it makes you happy then fine but don’t threaten me if you happen to be a “Factkin Rev”. If you really were me at your soul you wouldn’t do that shit. Sorry if this disappoints anyone.
