Pokémon Origins Addresses Gym Leaders
this is fucked. i want to fight your hardest pokemon. kick my fucking ass brock
Now that’s a game mechanic I’d like to see. No set gym order and the Pokemon used against you changing based on what badges you’ve already attained.
They kinda touched on it in G/S when you went to Kanto. Would love to see this implemented normally though.
So it makes a ton more sense because that all trainers start out their journeys in the town where the professors’ labs are. So if you’re from Cinnabar Island and Blaine is your first gym battle, he’s probably only using a Growlithe and Ponyta. Very glad this was pointed out.
