Okay, but the day that I learned that in ancient Egypt they viewed the Pharaoh as a god was the day I realized how FUCKING POWERFUL THIS SONG IS! Cause in the chorus when they say “Thus says the lord” I used to think it was just repeating itself to be dramatic, but then I REALIZED Moses is talking about God and Ramses is talking about himself. HOW CAN A SONG SO BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATE NOT ONLY A FEUD BETWEEN BROTHERS BUT A FEUD BETWEEN RELIGIONS??
