So he took me up to Atlanta to this restaurant called The Sundial which is at the top of the Westin Hotel. The dining area spins and you’re able to have one full rotation an hour. Very fancy place. No denim. Business casual, ya know. It’s got a GREAT view of the city normally, but it was overcast that day so all we saw were lights every now and then, and it was cool because it was like we were in a cloud. Our own world. Incredibly intimate.

So he takes me there for my birthday and it’s the best meal of my life. Then, he suggests we go up to the sightseeing area (the place has three floors. The dining area, a sightseeing area with signs and binoculars, and a bar/lounge area).

So we go up to that area and we’re exploring and he asks if I’m having a good time. I tell him yes, it’s been absolutely amazing. The most magical evening ever, and then he gets down on one knee and says “Good because I was hoping you’d marry me.”

I was knocked speechless.
