UPDATE: As more precincts have opened for polling, election totals have seen a dramatic swing from Rick, long the presumed leader in this race, to “relatable and reliable” outsider Mop.

Exit polls from earlier this morning suggested that Rick held a 3-to-1 advantage over his upstart competitor, leading some passionate Mop supporters to despair over their candidate’s chances.

However, the most recent numbers indicate that Rick has fallen to the rear of the pack, with Mop holding a significant edge. If this trend holds out, today could be a very good day for Mop indeed.
