Don’t shop at Game Stop during April… They’re supporting Autism $peaks.

Okay, please don’t boycott GameStop. Corporate will not understand why you’re doing this and blame the employees for failing to drum up business.

Instead, go as you usually do, decline to make a donation, and do that little website survey almost everyone ignores. That survey is your voice to corporate. Tell them using that why you don’t approve of Autism Speaks, perhaps suggest better charities to follow. Let them know that if they continue to support this organization, they’ll lose business.

Guys, as someone who has family members that work at Gamestop, please do not STOP shopping at Game Stop. Just avoid the donation and educate others not to accept the donations. Employees get their asses handed to them the less sales they make, which can result in termination or a severe lack of work hours. Please do not boycott the company.

Yeah Hi hello.

Actual worker here.

We’ve had zero, ZERO say in what we support from a store level. We’re just told what signage to put up and when.

Not once, however, have I asked anyone if they want to donate to AS. I don’t think it’s right. I’ve explained why to my co-workers and they too stopped asking.

There is zero reprimand for not getting donations.

There is me losing my work hours to my store for not making sales goals, however.

Now, about the survey. The store reads the comments, corporate…kinda doesn’t most of the time. the DMs will confront stores if they get bad reviews.

IF YOU LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK HOWEVER THAT IS VERY, VERY BAD FOR THE STORE. DO NOT LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR SOMETHING THE STORE HAD NO SAY IN. PLEASE. EMPLOYEES WILL BE REPRIMANDED FOR IT.

CONTACT CORPORATE DIRECTLY VIA CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAILS, SOCIAL NETWORKS, AND PHONE NUMBERS.

DO NOT RUIN A PERSONS JOB THAT THEY HAD NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER OF.

I can’t promise it’ll be effective, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be better than either of the above. @
