Here's what I don't get. Why do Changelings have fangs if they actually take in the love aura from people?

Take for example the musk deer/water deer
They are more for show since they are actually tusks.
I mean most likely they gave changelings fangs to make them scarier, but it’s fun to have theories!]]

well, when a changeling swaps with someone for long periods of time, they can’t risk the original showing up
