Yeah, because the show’s already has several instances of the new showrunners wrecking things and dismantling the old show. Aside from the girls being wrecked…
• They destroyed Pokey Oaks instead of just having the girls graduate a grade to get them into their K-12 school.
• They got rid of Miss Bellum, the smartest female character on the show, and also turned Miss Keane into a bumbling dorky teacher instead of keeping her as the (also) incredibly intelligent female teacher she is. (Also, yes, they chopped off her boobs.)
• They made Robin, the sweetest character on the show with one of the most poignant stories in the series, sound and act like a complete idiot. Because… comedy, I guess.
• They’ve reduced the villains (well, maybe except Princess :T) to bumbling dorks who don’t do much of anything except crossdress like half the time.
And there are probably even more examples of how they’ve been completely disrespectful of the old show, but I’m sure the ladies would’ve been like, “Uhhhhhhh, this is NOT how the girls would act. Ever. At all.” They can get these new girls to do anything, and I feel really awful for them.
The show runners really need to see things from another perspective, I feel, but I’m not sure how just yet, since they’re on the defense and feel “attacked” and misunderstood or something.
They don’t seem to be bothering to ask from other peoples’ perspectives before greenlighting this stuff >:I
Honestly I think the original voice cast dodged a bullet if this is what they had to be attached to. Too bad they can’t make their own show.
