Cartoons are so real to me…
As someone who appreciates dark stuff and grit, I’m totally cool with things being happier. Not everything has to be this emotional wave of sorrow and misery in order to be important- positive things and heroic things have a place, too.
Or maybe, like SU, a balance of the two– Utter emotional havoc is wreaked, but there is no rape, there is no death. Its the most real you can get
because apparently rape and death don’t exist in reality????
I think he means you can get the point across without being so graphic. You know, like using allegories. Sardonyx was a fusion made under coercion and it fucked up garnet pretty bad.
