why people who hate sinnoh are Wrong

  • it was the point in the franchise at which the characterisation actually started taking a turning point. the gym leaders began to appear outside of their gyms a lot more and generally had a bit more personality
  • FIRST GAMES IN WHICH YOU COULD RUN INSIDE
  • have you fuckin seen giratina they made an actual dEVIL POKEMON (or antimatter whatever we all know it’s the devil really)
  • it introduced qUICK BALLS AND DUSK BALLS 
  • barry is legit the funniest rival the franchise has ever seen
  • BROUGHT BACK DAY AND NIGHT AND CHANGED THE MUSIC DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF DAY 
  • cyrus was the first big bad with a more interesting and complex motive. I mean, giovanni’s just a mafia boss, and archie and maxie are environmentalists gone cuckoo, but cyrus actually starts lecturing you on genes and spirit and deep shit
  • the underground!!!
  • sinnoh is home to some of the coolest mythology. maybe they went a lil overboard on the legendaries but they still gave us the creation trio and the spirit trio and cresselia and darkrai and so much cool stuff
