tbh i absolutely love how he says ‘HE SAYS he’s male’ instead of ‘he’s male’ it makes my transgender bones vibrate with joy

It took me a long time to figure out how I wanted to go about doing this vine! I knew the punchline, but didn’t want to make it seem like it’s ok to assume he was male. Also, I actually added the mom into the plot of the vine, so that it could appear that time had passed, and clearly me and Leo had had a long talk and HE had revealed the gender he identified as to me, not that I went up to him and straight up asked, because I thought that was important too! I’m so happy it seems I executed it in a funny but respectful way for you all!

I love how this joke works on so many levels without hurting anyone.
