Nothing hurts my experience with a game quite like having the last 5 percent (and most of the rest of the actual game) just be a slog of wave after wave of the same generic enemies with little to no variety.
What about being 96% away from completion but you missed some of the items and you don’t know where the fuck they are because you used a walkthroguh but you still somehow missed some.

That’s frustrating when going for absolute completion, but is more of a matter of personal oversight than game design....
