In what kind of dystopian country do you live, where cashiers don’t have chairs?

Other countries let their cashiers sit while they work?

At least here in Portugal I’ve never seen a cashier without a chair.

It’s already a boring job, and people want to make it painful too?

Fuck, I can’t stand for more than 15 minutes without hurting all over. X_X

Some customers are loud, obnoxious, judgemental shitheads here, in the `States. So cashiers don’t get chairs or stools (unless they’ve a doctor’s note) to keep the judgey assholes from accusing cashiers of “being lazy”.

It should also be mentioned that those types often end up in a management position of some sort.

So let me get this straight: Your system operates under the assumption that an optimal work environment consists of ensuring your employees are as uncomfortable as possible, due to the expectation that the average customer is a massive cuntwafer?

And I thought Portugal was subservient.
