Im a fan of you and I understand what you mean but I think it is kinda guilt trippy. Especially because your already popular enough I don't see why you need more reblogs and from what I've seen you even put it on sketches and stuff. Put it on finished pics if you want but otherwise even if its not guilt tripping it seems unnecessary af.

The only reason I’m putting it on my art is because I wanna try and influence others to pick up the habit, especially artists who aren’t popular, to do it so they can encourage others to reblog THEIR art. I KNOW that my art gets exposure but what about other artists?? If I can’t go to their blog manually and reblog their art bc of communication problems, or I don’t see their art, or I’m wondering if that piece was their art or not, the very least I can do is encourage em to put the reminder on their art.

I’m gonna be brutally honest here, I wasn’t feeling too well last night and was easily hurt bc of stuff but now that it’s the morning and I dont rly feel anything as of now, I’m starting to see that you people are starting to push it. Literally all these reblogs better than likes things are doing is REMINDING you or NOTIFYING you. Not everyone knows that reblogs are better than likes. It’s not guilt trippy to remind people. It’s really not guilt trippy, it’s you people being overboard, sorry to say. I don’t usually say that but you gotta just scroll past if that “guilt trippy reminder” is hurting you THAT badly.

I think this is very valid. And it’s okay to put “reblogs > Likes” On your artwork and it is NOT guilt trippy to me at all. Lots of people want to but feel it is guilt trippy or their art “isn’t good enough” to put it there. But seeing an adored artist put it on their work may help them do it for themselves. That’s how I began to do it too. I think its so fucking rude of you people to approach someone and tell them they cant do it because it’s guilt trippy. An artist wants their art to be seen, so what. Let them do it. Let them feel good about their art and wanting it to be noticed.

^ the only guilt trippy ones are if you say
Reblog this or I’ll kill myself or Reblog or a lady will kill you in your room at 3am or some bullshit.

Or one of those shitty things that say “if you don’t reblog this you’re a bad person”

YEA YEA THOSE ARE JUST, EUUGGH

Bottom line is that it’s your own post so if you want to encourage people to reblog without threatening someones image or health, then that is perfectly fine
