what is up with the frighteningly fast growing trend of shitting all over fans of a thing almost right after that thing comes out and becomes super popular???? overwatch came out such a short time ago and people are already saying it’s the new undertale fandom. two months after undertale came out people started shitting on it and saying it’s the new homestuck/ steven universe fandom and “it needs to die”. and obviously, this is happening for su and hs. 

can you guys calm down? you can scroll down and ignore an annoying post you saw for something. unfollow people. follow new people. get xkit and clean up your dashboard and block posts. 

do SOMETHING because I am so, SO tired of people shitting over fanbases composed of THOUSANDS of different people, who are not all “annoying 12 year old shitlords.”

and also thank you to the surprising amount of people who replied to this and added some really good commentary in their tags >:’O this was just a silly vent post for me but I’m glad that so many other ppl agree. 

I’m aware this has always been happening, although nowadays it happens at a much more rapid and negative extent. from now on though, I’m gonna make sure I filter out my stuff more efficiently, cause I’m not gonna let any jerks ruin my fun for anything. and you shouldn’t either!!
