The world can be a lot like a public toilet: you can have a thousand people use it without incident, but it only takes one of them pissing on the seat to make it seem like the other 999 are horrible. Don’t lose hope. Reject hate and despair. The world has a lot more decent people than awful ones. So do what you gotta do and be sure wipe the seat for the next person.
