has somebody made an eloquent post about the danger of chalking up the orlando gunman’s homophobia to being a repressed gay yet
because that finally popped up in my trending on facebook and i want to post about it there but i’m having a hard time verbalizing why that’s a very bad way of looking at this

The shooter was not a repressed gay. His parents confirmed that he was violent throughout most of his life, even going as far as beating his own mother.
