The Red Skull used a Cosmic Cube to mind control Captain America into believing he was part of Hydra all along.

This what made people cry and throw fits like this one last month.

Y’all must be feeling pretty stupid now.

Yeah it’s not like we knew right from the start this was a stupid gimmick except we totally did

people defending this weak ass plot twist please go

mind control. I mean, it was exactly what I thought it was gonna be, and I’m still underwhelmed by it.

I knew from the very moment that this “twist” happened that it was gonna be a fake-out, and I’m still pissed that it was little more than publicity stunt made to get people talking.

anti-ignorancegamer

Just because I had a good feeling Marvel would have pulled something like this, doesn’t mean I don’t think that this plotline was little more than a have publicity stunt made purely for shock value. Even with this “twist” it’s still a stupid gimmick.

The thing about the tweest that annoys me most is that they spent the entire second issue explaining it in a giant villain monologue. It wasn’t something they worked into the story and revealed naturally, it was just Red Skull looking at the camera and explaining his grand master plan to us. Now I feel no need to keep reading the story.

Well a big problem was that the writers tweets were saying this wasn’t the case. Their shitty twist was so bad that the had to lie in order for people to fall for it. That’s like Moffat levels of bad writing
