A client calls our studio, asking us to replace the flags outside his company building.

Client: I want to have two flags on every flagpole.

Me: Okay… why would you do that? There is only really room to attach one flag.

Client: Sometimes the flags aren’t readable because the wind is blowing them in the wrong direction.

Me: Okay…

Client: So I want a second flag that points in the other direction so you can see my logo from all angles.

Me: Right, but - every flag turns with the wind. The two flags will catch the same wind direction.

The line goes quiet. I can HEAR him thinking on the other end.

Client: Ok, let’s go for one flag at each pole, but make sure people can see my logo from all angles.
