That’s just the thing, you can’t classify her as lesbian because she likes other gems. Gems don’t have a sex. Yes, it is a representation of lesbian relationships but she is not lesbian for being in love with Rose. They have no sex, there is no label, it’s just a relationship.

Can lesbians have like one thing? There’s never been characters like these before. Let us have something, even if they’re rocks.

I’m not trying to take anything away from you, it’s just it seems like everyone completely forgets they have no sex. None. Ziltch.
You want to use them as a representation of a love that is pushed away so much? Go for it. I’m happy that you feel joy from them. But everyone forgets the lore of the show in making it about a minority.

The lore of the show is never lost, in fact a lot of it is wrapped up in the fact of them being gay.

Not to be rude or something but… gems are homosexual? like, homosexual is attraction to same gender and gems are non-binary girls? they all go by she/her beside Steven who is half human? And Pearl is a lesbian because its canon? And non-binary lesbians are real? Rebecca Sugar (The CREATOR of this show) said that Ruby and Sapphire are CANONICALLY A LESBIAN COUPLE.
Like…? can they make it more obvious? why can’t LGBT have good things once in a while?
