Tobi was lonely. A single crab is a lonely crab, so i went back to finally get the little white crab I saw and fell in love with.

Liiiiittle did I know the care taker would pull out ALL the other crabs to make sure I wanted the tiny burrower and the first crab she pulled out stole my fucking heart just ripped it out.

This huge crab had a bright blue claw. All the others had red, maybe purple, maybe blueish-purple but not bright fucking blue.

And, well, I ended up with TWO new crabs for Tobi to play with.

The first guy is huge and very fast to try to pinch. His legs are orange and his claw took my heart on sight with its bright blue color. Energetic, always using his siblings as stepping stools, and with a love for exploring I named him Naruto.

The white shelled gal has a indigo claw and very pale legs (she’s not molting, that’s legit her color). She’s shy but once she’s out she’s faster than the others and has to trouble piggy backing. Her name is Cardiovascular, Vassie for short.

And of course, my main man Tobi. He has bright orange legs and a beautiful purple claw. His shell is my favorite out of all of them to be quite honest. He’s shy and loves climbing. His favorite foods so far are carrots and apple sauce.

These pictures were taken after I gave them their welcome home saltwater/calcium bath. This gets them smelling similar as well as washing off any nasties they could have brought over from their old tank.

They’re settled nicely into their home now, I’ll have to get pics later!
