When did “murder is bad” become a controversial opinion wtf
The idea in question wasn’t “Murder is bad” it was “murder for good ideals and/or in the name of peace is bad”
Okay but consider: murder is bad
Use your words. Murder and killing are not the same
Just don’t kill people, my dude
Why is this a point of debate
Bismuth wasn’t fighting for roses ideals. Roses ideals are that everyone deserves a chance at independence. By shattering gems with the breaking point, bismuth denies people their chance to be free. Also, she doesn’t care about soldiers or civilians, she attacks them just the same with the intent to kill.
She was the reason lapis was poofed, put in a mirror and cracked. Bismuth attacked civilians, denied people a second chance by trying to kill them and went against everything rose stood for, treason. Even if you look at it with the current politics of war, she would still have committed war crimes.
She would basically have been a nuke if allowed to use the breaking point. She would kill indiscriminately and deny everyone their right to life.
