Did anyone else have that thing as a kid where you had to do something four times to like, complete the pattern or else it would bother you? Like tap something or jump up and down or whatever?

So you’d do something a couple times and your parents would be like ‘quit it’ but you gotta complete the pattern, so you try to do it one more time without them noticing and of course they do notice and then you get in trouble.

… Y’know?

Does knocking on the door four whenever you knock on someones door times count? Or making sure the volume is divisible by 5? Or making sure your lego projects are perfectly symmetrical?

  2. hell-yeah-french-fries said: not quite that but i had a thing where if something happened to one side of my body i needed it to happen to the other or else id feel unbalanced. not too bad until it came to me banging like my left hand against something by accident and subsequently needing to repeat the action to my right hand. i still dont know what the reason behind this was…
