Sometimes people forget just how smart King of the Hill can be.
When Kahn finds out that his daughter isn’t admitted into a prestigious summer school because of racial quotas, he loses it and realizes that all his families hard work is for nothing. They start living like rednecks since they think their education doesn’t mean anything and nearly become homeless in the process.
When Kahn is thrown into a stick fighting ring Hank tries to talk sense into him and we learn what made Kahn make this decision.
Because racial and gender quotas or terrible.
God damn right they are.
I freaking love King of the Hill. It’s the rare “Adult” cartoon that doesn’t rely on raunchy humor and tasteless jokes and actually creates meaningful characters with real life issues.
And it was, weirdly enough, created by the dude who created Beavis and Butthead
