Client: The fonts and gradients are illegible on the site. I can’t even read it! Here are some screenshots.
Me: Huh! That does look weird. I’ll have a look at the code, see what’s up.
I started rooting around in the CSS and HTML to see if there was some fallback code that was messing things up. I couldn’t find ANYTHING that would mess up the text like in the photos.
Me: I can’t find the problem in the code. Is your browser up to date?
Client: I don’t know! How do I find out?
Me: Well, what browser are you using?
Client: “IBM Notes.”
Me: ….
Client: ….
Me: …What?
Google tells me that IBM notes is some kind of in-software browser. I have no idea why he was using it.
