White privilege is never having to spell your last name.

you… you’ve never met a polish person have you

american privilege is not realizing the world does not in fact consist of only america

I’m white (mostly) and I frequently had to spell not only my maiden name, but now my married name as well.

As a white american, I can say without a doubt I once spent a month calling and having to correct my bank because they mispelled my name on multiple occassions. First and last.

Hell, after I went to the hospital for the collapsed gun, ALL THE INSURANCE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN IT got my last name wrong and my last name isn’t even that hard.
