I 100% did this today. I had just clocked out and gotten my stuff from the break room. Had a poptart in one hand, keys in the other, purse (bright pink and light gray) over my shoulder. It’s more than obvious that I’m leaving. I’m walking out the door and I hear “Excuse me, ma’am?”
I pretended not to hear. The customer ran me down as the person up front was checking my bag, looked annoyed, demanded I help her in TV’s, and I gave her a smile and said “I’m sorry I’m off the clock. They’ll get someone to help you.” and never looked back.
