This powerful short by two Pixar animators is darker than Pixar has ever gone.
My hands flew to my mouth and i didnt even realize until i started crying like a little bitch
at this point if i see “pixar” and “animated short” i already start crying
Good! Yes! I loved this! I want to see more of this in animation. It’s powerful and it pulls no punches!
Also it’s funny how in the article the Toy Story 3 furnace scene and Bing-Bong’s death were mentioned as “dark”. Family films are getting way too dulcet in my opinion. (Inside out is PG??) Kids need darker stuff it teaches them that’s some parts in life are harsh and will better prepare them for said times when they’re grown.
While this is very grown up I think kids can see it too. (with parental guidance )
