Lasers and blasters were considered obsolete (to the extent of uselessness) way before the federation was even founded.

a star destroyer probably wouldn’t pose much of a threat to even the NX Enterprise, and regarding the Millenium Falcon, the federation Enterprises all had tractor beams.

While most ANY of the Enterprises could stand up to the Millenium Falcon and win, their match against the Star Destroyers would be much more open to interpretation. The “lasers are obsolete” line in Star Trek does not take into account Star Wars primarily uses a -different weapon-, turbolasers, which have power outputs comparable to a phaser.

Also Star Wars has deflector shields too. And they’re useless in both settings.

So then it comes to the flying as the determining factor. The millennium falcon is much more maneuverable and has for a fact taken down a station the size of a moon. And I have no doubt the crew could disable the tractor beams and escape.

The crew would have to get on the Enterprise to disable the tractor beams.

And early Enterprises definitely had trouble with very small craft.

You seem to forget that Picard had many visitors on the enterprise and I bet he’d be interested in bens space magic. The only difficulty I can find in regards to getting on the enterprise and deactivating shields is finding a way off considering I don’t think han and crew know how to use the transporters.
