Carrie Fisher has reportedly been rushed to a Los Angeles Hospital after suffering cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles

You can read a full report of what happened here from NBC, and the story as it broke originally from TMZ here. While United Airlines has only confirmed that a female passenger became unresponsive, multiple passengers have tweeted about what happened, confirming it to by Carrie, and Mark Hamill and Peter Mayhew have both tweeted support to her. According to TMZ, paramedics were able to get a pulse and she is currently at the UCLA medical center. Please send you thoughts and prayers to her while she is being cared for. 

UPDATE: According to the Associated Press, Todd Fisher (Carrie’s brother) says that Carrie Fisher is in a stable condition and out of the emergency room.

Just to reiterate what other users are saying, while you are celebrating Carrie’s stable health, please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she recovers. We don’t have an official “Carrie’s okay!” announcement yet, just second hand reports from various press outlets, so it is important to keep in mind while we give thanks for her returning health that we continue to think of her in her recovery.

UPDATE AGAIN (7:50pm PST): Todd Fisher has now gone on the record saying that the Associated Press report is wrong, unfortunately. Carrie is in the ICU and, according to Todd, there “is no good news and no bad news.” He has spoken directly with The Hollywood Reporter and Variety.
