if you’re a straight girl and you only ship gay relationships and completely ignore lesbian ones, that’s a problem, that’s fetishization, and you don’t get to decide that it isn’t
Also, when you exclusively ship white m/m relationships at the expense of interracial relationships, then you’re not only likely fetishizing m/m relationships but erasing/ignoring POC representation and hiding behind insincere allyship to do so.
