The Great Comet has returned.

While Firebenders the world over use their abilities to power high-retentive generators built to store the energy for years to come, Firelord Izumi and Avatar Korra harness the Comet’s energy to launch the first ever spacecraft, as designed by Asami Sato and built by Future Industries.

Their ship laden with Spirit Vine capsules and the new Comet generators to sustain their power supply for their long journey, an elite team of Benders and Non-benders embark on a mission to build a space station with hopes of landing on the Moon, perhaps to establish a base there in time.

The Avatar Space Age has begun.
