How do you upgrade to sai2? Do you just buy the licence from SAI1 and use it for SAI2 ?
AnonymousYeah, if you have the license for SAI1 the upgrade to SAI2 is free. SAI2 has actually been around since 2014, but this version is in full English, and seems to have ironed out most of the kinks. For all intents and purposes this seems to be an actual working upgrade.
I upgraded to SAI2 because it has 64bit support, but here’s some of the neat stuff in it:
- Text tool
- Quickline
- Perspective grid (your lines snap to the grid)
- Ruler (straight/ellipse, your lines snap to the ruler)
