I was watching some of this earlier and the woman shouldn’t be in charge of a recycling drive on her block, much less the nation’s schools

Hi guys, I’m an art educator working at a non-profit that serves adults with disabilities. Through my organization, my guys and I have the opportunity to devote one day a week to teaching art at a public school. Because the school cannot afford an art teacher. Because high stakes testing and charters have robbed them of their high-performing students, budget, and even physical classroom space. They are being set up to fail as they are told to do more with less for a student body with an ever-rising share of high-risk and neurodivergent kids who were rejected by the charters.

DeVos’s goals to continue to dismantle public schools in favor of charter and private schools will hurt all children, especially girls, POC, LGBT+, neurodivergent kids, and children with disabilities. 

Call your senators and tell them to VOTE NO on DeVos.
