BEAUTY AND THE BEAST IS NOT STOCKHOLM SYNDROME! If you really really need to label it, call it Lima Syndrome, in which the captor falls in love with his captive. 

Because it is NOT Stockholm. Beast and Belle develop a clear respect for each other and their boundaries, and they both grow. 

I am so sick of every edgy motherf***er coming out of the woodworks to scream “But Stockholm Syndrome” every time somebody mentions the story.
