Ok is there ever an explanation to why side characters in Zelda games still are around even though the games are sometimes 100 years + apart?
Are they tied to the same fate as Zelda or Link or even Epona? Like they just keep coming back when needed?

Well tingle is an organization. it’s not even his real name. The ingles are a group of merchants chosen by the king of rupees to sell wares at exuberant prices to pay tribute to the god. so tingle is a title, not a name.
As for epona, It’s possible link is the one who names her after the second link got a horse named epona. so like, the twilight princess link named her epona as some sort of residual memory from a past life.
beedle is straight up a dimension hopper. he was in phantom hourglass which takes place in a world beyond wind waker similar to how termina is. He was there in the very beginning. back when skyloft destroyed demise all the way to 100 years after the fall of hyrule due to calamity ganon.
Basically, the merchants are the emissaries of eldrich horrors of the farthest depths of the void.
