Nope. “Witch” is a unisex term.
I think that the whole commonly used “women are witches and men are wizards” division comes from the Harry Potter series. Which is fine to use within the context of the series, but it’s not historically correct.

Wizards are more studious in their learning of magic whereas witches are more hands on with their magic. Basically, wizards are nerds who stay in the library and witches are the kids who spend their time in the art room
