Steven Universe:

  • Takes 2 seasons to introduce a series villain
  • 3 seasons to actually do anything with them
  • Still hasn’t resolved roughly three quarters of the mysteries introduced in the first ten episodes
Rick and Morty

  • Topples a galactic empire in a single episode

  3. shyfly21 said: The show has a ton of flaws but i dont think its overarching story is it. I *like* the fact that shit stays relevant. I hated when they turned around and actually did take down an entire galactic empire in like 5 episodes. Because yknow the entire show is based off this thing theyre supposed to solve. Rick and Morty is different because their whole goal isn’t taking down the galactic empire or whatever the episode entrails.
