imo the single funniest thing Gorillaz has ever done was when recording Do Ya Thing they were told to make a song inspired by a shoe and featuring André 3000 and on the very last day of recording  André did a one-take, ad-libbed freestyle for 13 minutes and everyone else had no idea when it was gonna end
