sigh
remember when Doctor Who used to have characters with unique quirks and personalities, even if they weren’t main characters?
I can’t remember the last time a one off side character in Doctor Who has made any sort of impression on me.
Characters now are just treated like pieces on a board, there for the sole purpose of the plot but having no soul themselves.
It’s godamn depressing, a show that’s supposed to celebrate humanity can’t even give us people who feel like actual human beings.
I think the last side character who had an impact to me and was super memorable was either wilfred mott or harriet jones

masqueraccoon said: That’s why I kinda fell out of the show starting with 11. Having to make myself catch up, in the hopes that the next showrunner actually cares about characters.
