Trump uses out-of-context quote to berate London Mayor Sadiq Khan following terrorist attack

• Trump went after London Mayor Sadiq Khan in a Sunday morning tweet, saying “At least seven dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’" 
• The president also tweeted “we must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people.”
• However, Trump’s take on Khan’s statement is wildly out of context. 
• In a press conference, Khan said, “Londoners will see an increased police presence today [Sunday] and over the course of the next few days. No reason to be alarmed.”  Read more (6/4/17 10 AM) 

Hours before London attack, ISIS reportedly used app to call for knife and truck attacks

• Mere hours before a van went careening into crowds on the London Bridge and armed attackers went on a stabbing spree Saturday, ISIS reportedly used a messaging app to call for supporters to “kill the civilians of the Crusades, run over them by vehicle.
• “According to the Telegraph, the message, written in English and Arabic, was sent on the the encrypted messaging app Telegram. 
• The propaganda poster had pictures of a gun, a knife and a white truck. “Gain benefit from Ramadhan,” the poster reportedly said.As the Washington Post reported in December, Telegram is “the app of choice” for many jihadists. Read more. (6/4/2017 10:14 AM)
