I think most people on this website forget that nobody has to accept them for who they are. If they don't like you cause you're gay, colored, etc, thats their problem. If they violate your rights however, thats against the law and they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent. But other than that, calling people fags isn't illegal.

it actually is a crime in most cases to call a gay person f*g because in most cases it’s to incite violence or to make threats, which IS illegal. slurs are not protected by free speech.
