So now you have to be the right kind of gay?

Feminists also had some women’s march where they told pro-life women not to attend. A rich democratic donor described blacks who vote republican as being like Jews who helped the Nazis in the holocaust and called them fucked in the head. They frequently call black republicans “Uncle Toms”. The left doesn’t care about minorities. They only care about minorities they can exploit to get their votes.

Saw this coming.

1) It’s not a manner of the “right type of lgbt+ person”: It’s because Trump’s administration did away with transgender protections, and is likely going to erode right that lgbt+ people fought for. They’re working against the interest of the group and then demanding inclusion despite advocating for an unsafe community. In a sense, it’s demanding safety and inclusion for themselves but advocating against the common interest. 

2) Pro-life organizations are known to harass women who have had abortions and who advocate for them - again working against the common interest of hte people they’re advocating for. And even then the Washington Times (and fox) has a large pro-life/conservative slant. They used a single tweet to prove that they were banned, did not link to anyone who said that they can’t attend, and used the word of someone unrelated to the march to ‘prove’ that they were banned. Most of the article was bashing liberals and the ‘tolerant left’ rather than discussing factual information.

3) And this is a single person. Out of a lot of democrats. He wasn’t a major contributor to anyone (giving less than 800$ to the clinton campaign), served as a foreign policy advisory almost 30 years ago, and fell into relative obscurity after the Clinton administration. So it’s not like he represents a lot of viewpoints that democrats (or liberals in general) as a whole. 

Finally, using 3 examples - two of which are justified, one of which is honestly meaningless, and anecdotal data that’s likely not representative of the left as a whole, you’re using dishonest tactics to justify calling people bigots. I mean, just look at the differences of the platforms of the Left and the Right - we have someone in office who repealed transgender protection laws, and advocated against federal protection of same sex marriage. Doesn’t exactly sound like a friend to lgbt people. 

Yes, the left does have its problems - just like every single group out there. No, they aren’t exploiting minorities for votes. 

“How dare you not allow gay people into pride for supporting groups that want to kill gay people????” 

It’s not about “only letting in the right kind of gay people” it’s about “not letting in people who want gay people dead”.

Newsflash, if you support anti-LGBT+ groups, regardless of what sexuality you are, chances are that LGBT+ people aren’t going to fucking like you, and don’t want you at pride.

There’s this weird idea that we, as a community, have to like every single person belonging to our community, that, even if they’re bigots, we have to bow down and kiss their feet.

Absolutely not. If you are a danger to our people in any way, we do not have to welcome you into our spaces or tolerate your presence. Just because you’re gay doesn’t mean you can’t be an evil sack of shit.

If you support legislature that explicitly endangers our lives, our safety, and our rights, WHY should we share ANYTHING with you? You have your own shitty little bigot party and leave the rest of us be.
