Are there commercial preening oil products for feathered humans who don't have a uropygial gland or otherwise have problems with oil production or want a more luxury experience? Or would that be too niche a product
Too niche, but regular skincare oils like jojoba might work. Avian preening oils DEFINITELY wouldn’t work because they have different biochemistry than humans. Their lipids are not like our lipids
humans produce oils for their hair so its not unreasonable that the bird humans could produce the oils
