these tongues are crawling and one of them spit out spaghetti

@glumshoe please ship help. what and why is that doing this?

This is a species of Nemertean/ribbon worm, a predatory marine worm that hunts by everting a long, branchy, sticky, venomous proboscis to capture its prey. Apparently they are very fragile and may fall apart into chunks when handled or removed from the water, so this is likely a single individual in the throes of death, and all the little “tongues” are portions of its body that have fallen off and are still wriggling.
