Silver Tongue
Okay but it really gets to me how the Tres Horny Boys catchphrases evolved over the campaign.

idonthaveatum-blr:

“Zone of Truth” was a running gag, “Taako’s good out here” was Taako’s narcissistic apathy and cowardice ,and “Magnus rushes in” was a way for Travis to remember to roleplay instead of going with his gut.

That’s how everything started, but in episodes 68 and 69 the meaning of these phrases changed. “Zone of Truth” was Merl’s greatest spell, “Taako’s good out here” was a stand against pessimism ,and “Magnus rushes in” was Magnus finally going home.

These boys have grown so much and I love all of them.

its a trope called meaningful echo where something said in the past means something else in new context
