callout for madam director i guess: why aren't featherfall boots a part of our uniform? i know we don't really like magical items of any kind, but there's like no harm you can do with a pair of boots that stop you from dying if you fall off our base approximately 20000 fft (fantasy feet) in the air. plus, putting little booties on dogs means that they won't die if the run right off the moon, and that's the kind of future i want to live in
