Ok so earthbenders can metal bend, waterbenders can blood bend, and firebenders can lighting bend. What special thing can an airbender do?
On a less fun note I think Korra gave them flight and astral projection?
Void/vacuum bending.
Think about it: you need air to allow sound to pass through. If an airbender bends out a bubble of no-air with just airbubbles around each person’s head to allow them to breathe, sound could be muffled or made absent. silent movement~~

no you’re right. avatar showed us that you can create a bubble of air around someones head and korra showed us that they can create an absence of air (also they can literally suffocate people by ripping out the air from their lungs)
so all they would need to have a absolute silent zone is to create a large vaccume and then each one of them have an air bubble connected to each other, or they can huddle close and basically be in an air bubble inside a vaccume bubble which would also allow for them to avoid people reading their lips. They would need to make sure the air doesn’t extend to the floor thoguh, or else earth benders might be able to hear it.
